About the Role

The Business Development Executive will play a critical role in expanding the company’s footprint across England by identifying and securing new cleaning contracts, enhancing brand visibility, and supporting the transition from a freelance to a permanent cleaning workforce. This is a client-facing role that demands strong commercial awareness, communication skills, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new residential and commercial cleaning contract opportunities across England, including offices, Airbnb properties, landlords, letting agencies, and housing associations.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and long-term contracts.
  • Plan and execute outreach campaigns (digital and offline) to increase visibility and generate leads in multiple regions.
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of local resident cleaners by forecasting their needs based on client acquisition.
  • Collaborate with the management to align service delivery with customer expectations and improve operational efficiency.
  • Attend industry events, networking opportunities, and meetings with prospective clients to build strong commercial links.
  • Provide regular progress reports, including market feedback, lead conversion data, and potential growth areas.
  • Assist in preparing client proposals, quotes, and service presentations tailored to specific cleaning needs.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in cleaning, facilities management, or service industries.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build trust and convert prospects into long-term clients.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, client pipelines, and digital marketing tools is desirable.
  • Flexibility to travel across England for client visits and field meetings.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and commitment to supporting long-term company growth.
